Can Resolution value be a zero?

HI.

I am Deokheon Song from Aprogen Biologics, South Korea.

We use the PA800plus.

I have a question.

Can Resolution value be a zero?

The experiment was conducted, and the Resolution value was zero in several peaks.

I just wonder if this is an error or mis-configuration.

Please answer it for me

    Hello,

    That’s a software thing.

Resolution is considered a capillary performance function and in order for the sw to display those numbers on the electropherogram screen the user needs to check the box for capillary performance.
To get to the screen below simply go to Method>Advanced (the screen below will show up and defaults to the Data Export tab).
    Screen Shot 1
Go to Capillary/Performance and check the box for Calculate performance parameters for this channel. Choose the method to calculate the resolution, signal to noise etc. Save the method, click on analyze the data again.
    Screen Shot 2

    Cheers,
    M
