Recently, our support desk was alerted to a situation in which remote monitoring data showed a lab’s room temperature at 35˚ C. While a mass spec can run at this temperature, is still considered warm. 

Our team immediately alerted the customer to the potential issue. It turns out, as they were fixing their HVAC system, their lab temperature increased. Increased lab temperatures are a not an ideal environment for operating a mass spec and often can result in workflow interruption.
