1. Field service reports – now exactly where you need them

One of the most requested features is finally here. You can now access field service reports (FSR) directly within SCIEX Now, at the instrument level.

 

What’s new?

  • View FSRs in context, linked to the specific instrument (asset)
  • Access reports directly from the portal, without extra steps
  • Maintain continuity with FSRs still accessible via Cases, ensuring a complete service history

  • Faster access to critical documentation
  • A more connected digital service experience

 

2. Secure, unlimited file uploads with BOX Integration

Another major enhancement in this release addresses a long‑standing request from both customers and internal teams: the ability to easily upload and share large files in SCIEX Now.

What’s new?

SCIEX Now leverages BOX, a secure cloud storage platform, to manage file uploads and document storage for support cases.

With this update, you can now:

  • Upload large data files, instrument logs, and supporting documents without size or quantity limitations
  • Attach multiple files directly to a support case
  • Organize files into folders and view, download, or print them directly from the portal
  • Securely collaborate with SCIEX support teams using a shared, cloud‑based repository

Uploads are simple and intuitive; just click the “+” icon in the attachments section of a case to add files from local storage or BOX.

Why it matters

This enhancement removes one of the most common friction points in the support experience:

  • No more file size limitations or separate transfer tools
  • Faster issue diagnosis with complete, centralized information
  • Enterprise‑grade security and compliance, protecting sensitive scientific data
  • Improved collaboration across global teams and time zones

You can now remove software you no longer use from your SCIEX Now profile.

A highly anticipated improvement—now available.

  • dropdown menu now allows you to switch roles (User ↔ Owner) instantly
  • No need to remove and re-add contacts
